The Guadalupe neighborhood enjoys a privileged location in San Miguel de Allende, even though it is only a few blocks from the beautiful and busy downtown, it also preserves an atmosphere of calm in its streets. The walls of this area are adorned with colorful murals made by local and international artists, walking through it is like visiting an interesting street gallery. This, and the variety of restaurants, specialty cafes, gourmet stores, and the short distance that separates it from the Fábrica la Aurora cultural complex, give this neighborhood an artistic, bohemian and cosmopolitan atmosphere. It also has a large variety of schools, butchers, grocery stores and laundries, to mention some of the basic services that are covered without having to go far. A safe area that for many reasons is a favorite for locals and foreigners to call home.
